The date was the 7th of July 1777, The faithful night the Count found out that his 'beloved' wife had been unfaithful to him! After a long day of fighting the Count, afraid that the ‘BASTARD CHILD’ would inherit his properties pushed his wife down the stairs to die. His ghost later visited Jonathan LaFey to warn him of Abigail's revenge.

"NO!" was all she cried, the day that she was pushed down the slippery stairs! She breaks her neck and dies apon giving stillbirth to the child that the Count De LaFey mummifies and names Abigail.

68 years later Jonathan La Fey with his newly married wife, 18 year old Miriam Natias, come to inherit the mansion of Count de La Fey. On the way they meet 7 Black Horsemen, Whom were the Count's servants. They warned them to turn back that very night, lest "18 will become 9". Jonathan doesn't understand the strangely sounding warning and laughed them off. In the night, however he is visited by a ghost of Count De LaFey who shows him Abigail's sarcofagus and tells him the horrible truth: the spirit of Abigail is inside Miriam, and the only way to stop the rebirth of Abigail is to kill Miriam. Later, as he sees his wife 'grow', he understands the warning, but it's too late. Abigail truly had possessed his wife.
Miriam is possessed by the evil spirit of Abigail...Jonathan wants to get an exorcist, but Abigail pretends to be Miriam's again and tells him that there only hope is to remember he stairs it was the only way. Once they reached the stairs Abigail moves like a ghost, she pushed him hard and clean to the bottom of the stairs. It seems that Jonathan is dead but it turns out that he only broke his leg and was lying there unconscious for hours until O'Brian comes back from the chapel and dresses his wounds. As Abigail is reborn Miriam dies, her final seeing was a pair of yellow eyes! (It’s said that you can still hear her screaming you’re your walking the stairs in July)
Abigail was first born dead 7/7/1777 the illegitimate daughter of the Count and Countess De LaFey. Her spirit later possesed Miriam Natias After her rebirth she was to be taken to the chapel in the forest and nailed to the coffin with seven silver spikes, one through each arm, hand and knee, with the last of the seven being drawn through her mouth so that she may never rise and cause evil again. Unbeknownst to the brothers of the Black Horsemen O'Brian was the half-brother of Abigail and he would not allow the ritual to be preformed, saving baby Abigails life.
The Black Horsemen take Abigail and raise her as their own. They all come to love her especially O'Brian (Abigail is never told that he is her half-brother) who becomes a father figure to Abigail. She lives a happy life with them until her 18th birthday when she sets out to find out the truth about her past.
