Mother of Molly. Obsessed with jealousy she didn't want anyone to see her daughter, so she kept her locked up in the attic room. She then painted her portrait, and then burned it with the "Candle of Fate" after Molly made it speak to her. She was later driven insane by the ghost of her daughter Molly!

The 4 year old daughter of Mrs. Jane who was kept in the attic by her evil jealous mother, until her death. Her spirit was then imprisoned in the Candle due to some sort of magic her mother started to paint her portrait, but when she finished it Molly made it speak to her mother about Molly's pain and her mother's demise. So the mother burnt it in the Candle of Fate while speaking an ancient rhyme from The Book of Jonah. The only way to set her free was to burn the candle again while reading the same rhyme.

Mrs. Jane was obsessed with jealousy. She didn't want anybody to see her little daughter Molly. So she kept her locked up in the Attic room until she died at the age of 4. Meanwhile she was struck by an Idea: if she painted Molly's portrait she will make her therefore immortal. So she did, but when Molly made the portrait speak to her mother she's gonna Die too; she burned it in a Candle of Fate, speaking a rhyme from an ancient Book of Jonah. The story starts when the narrator sees Molly's face in a candle flame. She speaks to him only one word "Jonah". He realizes the way to make her free, finds the book, reads the rhyme and frees Molly's spirit from the Candle. Molly then takes revenge on her mother by haunting her. Mrs. Jane goes insane...
